This is not a hand cream, it’s a moisturizing, exfoliating, hand wash. It comes as a grainy cream, that you rub into your hands. You don’t have to rub for very long (treat it like soap). I like to rub it for quite a long time because I like to work the grains into my skin and get the roughness out. Then just rinse in warm water. It will feel a little sticky. Just dry your hands and you are done. At my age, my skin gets so dry, it forms hard little caps at the tips of my fingers, dry itchy flakes on the backs of my hands and deep cracks between nails and the tips of my fingers. My skin hasn’t felt this good since I was a kid. It really does leave your skin “baby soft”. The la source scent is pretty neutral. It has a fresh soapy-ish scent that doesn’t seem like a perfume. Although, like all Crabtree and Evelyn products, the scent is distinct. The product is fairly concentrated so you won’t need all that much and I find I only need it once or twice a week so, even the sample size lasts for a month.

I also have this product in as part of a kit, the “60-second hand fix” only in the Jojoba scent. It comes with a hand lotion plus cuticle cream, a 2-in-1 type of product. Wow, this is rich stuff. I used too much the first time and it took about 10 minutes to work it into my skin but my skin felt great and not greasy. Pretty amazing when I think how I much I put on. Jojoba is a fairly rich scent, it’s not flowery or fruity at all and makes a good scent for men (but I like it too). However, I have a feeling, you love it or hate it.

If you find the prices relatively high, you might want to go to the crabtree and evelyn website and sign up for their emails. They run specials on their products very frequently. I find that (on special) the prices are only 1-3 dollars more than the drugstore competitor. Since the fragrance makes their product lines very suitable for gifts, I will often stock up when the specials come around. I might even give them away, assuming I haven’t gotten addicted to the stuff personally.

La Source Hand Therapy is the best hand lotion I have ever used in my entire life. Try it once and it will be your favorite. It’s not greasy. My skin just drinks it in and it smells crisp and clean. I absolutely love it! Well worth the cost and shipping. My last 50 ml tube lasted for years since a little dab will do ya. I’ve got other hand creams at home but I’m buying this one online because it’s that good. I think a previous reviewer mixed up this product with another hand therapy product in this line which does what she described: you rub it in and wash and it’s ultra moisturizing. This is a hand cream — not that.

I got a sample of this when I stayed at a Hilton hotel and ran to Amazon to see if they had it. It’s a very good hand creme that doesn’t feel greasy and has a light scent like that of a spa. After using it for a few weeks my hands are smoother looking and they feel soft. I will buy this again. It has a nice consistency, not watery and not thick. I love it.

I received this hand cream as a gift and I absolutely LOVE it. I am very picky when it comes to hand lotion because I want it to be thick and motorizing with a nice scent. The scent is very light and clean smelling. This is the perfect combination for a hand lotion!

This product is a hand cream, not a soap (as previously mentioned in a review). It isn’t grainy at all. It’s very smooth and soft. I use it all year long, but it is a true lifesaver for my hands in the winter! The hand cream has a very light scent. I have sensitive skin, but the fragrance doesn’t irritate me at all. This is the best hand cream that I have ever used.
