Very strongly scented. Woman’s stuff. Later, bought an over the counter product not femininely scented.

Really great product. I have REALLY dry skin and this was amazing for ailing that. I also had minor dark spots from acne and it helped lighten them significantly. I was very pleased with those results. On the box, it says that skin irritation may occur…well, I did get a little irritated on my cheeks and my chin, but I also put the product on my neck and it gave me a massive rash! Unfortunately, the product failed on that bit, but I really recommend this product for dry skin and spot lightening!

It left my skin irritated, created new rashes and pimples. The smell is kind of weird, although bearable. I though 3% HQ was the answer to my forehead dark spots, but may be it’s not.

Yes, this product does smell like “old lady”. I have used it for 3 months morning and night and have not seen any noticeable lightening so I have stopped using it now. It does however, leave my skin really soft, but the smell is so strong that it gives me a headache. The first time I tried it, I put a small dab on my hand and was embarrassed by the smell of it since I was at work at the time.

I used this religiously twice a day (morning & night) for the recommended 3 months and it didn’t seem to work so I’ve stopped using it. It actually seems like it darkened some areas instead too. They warn you about that possibility on the label but it’s such a subtle change you don’t really know it’s happening. This product does not smell good either. It really does smell like an old lady and a little like onions. Weird.
