@naamalj I would definitely do the Moisture Rich or the stick. The compact can tend to be a bit drier feeling, which from the sounds of it, would leave your dry/combo skin a bit dry feeling, I’m afraid. Make sure you are using moisturizer am and pm. It will make whatever foundation you choose go on smoothly and last longer. Good luck!

@naamalj aren’t you just the sweetest person?!!
Tell me about your skin: are you dry, combo or oily? That will help me help you. Out of the three, the stick and compact foundation will give you the most coverage. . . I’ll wait to hear from you

Thank you, that was very helpful! I love Bobbi Brown’s skincare line and have only tried the hydrating eye cream, vitamin enriched face base, and (day) face cream.

@Nailtigerliz Thanks for the compliment! I would recommend one of the following: 1) Skin Foundation: light-medium coverage for all skin types 2) Moisture Rich: medium-full coverage for normal-dry skin 3) SPF15 Tinted Moisturizer: sheer coverage for all skin types except oily. My gut tells me either #1 or #3, depending on the coverage you need, although any one of them would be great for you. Don’t forget to moisturize, even in the summer months! Enjoy

Thanks so much for the info! Do you mind a question about BB foundations? I’ve been using the luminous foundation with my super dry skin this winter and love it. I want a foundation for the warm days that are coming, when I will be dry only on my cheeks and a bit oily in my t-zone. What do you think? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!!

oh, well thanks bunches! I worked for both lines, so I guess you are asking the right lady!
I think they are both great lines, with standout products for each. I’ll write you personally so as to not waste space on here . . . chat with you in a bit!

Hi, fantastic video, what do you think about bobbi brown skin care vs clinique skin care?

I would use it when your skin is a bit drier, maybe during this time of year. You can always use it during warmer months, but may feel better following up with some sort of toner.

SFP- there are different types and grades of Algae Extract. I think it’s safe to say the type in Bobbi’s Hydrating Cream is non-irritating. I have had some issues with acne, and have adored the cream- if anything it left my skin smoother and more even in tone. If you purchase this at a store like Nordstrom and you decide it irritates your skin you can return it. Also, feel free to ask someone at a Bobbi counter for a sample jar of the cream. They will be more than happy to do so

I have heard that Algae extract is bad for your skin if you are acne prone – do you know if this is correct? I wanted to try the hydrating face cream and I know this contains algae extract. Thanks!

Dont use the balm rinse if you have combination/oily skin. Use the lathering tube soap for combination skin

the lady you spoke to at BB is correct. It’s great used as a primer. You can also dab some on your lips to hydrate them! Enjoy your eye cream, and make sure to be using is am and pm
