It was very gentle, although I didn’t feel as though it cleaned my skin very well. When I tried to use it to remove eye makeup, it didn’t work, but it didn’t irritate my eyes, either. If I had sensitive skin, this product would be great. Since I don’t, I wouldn’t purchase this product, nor would I recommend it to a friend or family member.

I started using this around 10 years ago after reading about it in Paula Begoun’s cosmetic review books. Every so often I try other cleaners, but always go back to Cetaphil. Once or twice a week, I mix it with baking soda for a mild exfoliant. This is a great basic mild cleanser and very reasonably priced.

I started using Cetaphil products about 10 years ago. A friend told me about this miracle product she read about in a cosmetics and body care review book that women were buying in droves.

I have very fair, sensitive skin along with seborrheic dermatitis that will sometimes spread to my face if I don’t keep it under control. For the first 20 odd years of my life I had to switch cleansers and makeup products about once a year because they would begin to irritate my skin. Not so with Cetaphil. As I stated above, I’ve been using it going on 10 years now.

It is an incredibly gentle cleanser that I use morning and evening. Sometimes at the change of seasons I will need to use a witch hazel astringent with the cleanser because my face is oilier at those times of the year. Otherwise, I can use this product on its own. It is fragrance free and if I happen to be lax in controlling my seborrheic dermatitis and it spreads to my face, the Cetaphil does not irritate it at all.

Along with dermatologists, I highly recommend this product for those with sensitive skin.

I have very sensitive skin and I’m allergic to a lot of soaps, but I didn’t have any problem with Cetaphil. I used it several times a day, whenever my face didn’t feel clean, and I didn’t have any problems. Cetaphil is better than other facial cleansers because it made my skin look and feel clean, and didn’t dry it out. I highly recommend Cetaphil; however, look out for sales because the price is a little high.

The first few times I used the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, I didn’t think I liked it because it didn’t lather. I felt like I was trying to wash my face with lotion instead of cleanser. However, I began to notice that my skin felt smoother and looked healthier after a few days. It didn’t make my face feel tight like other cleansers. I like the convenience of being able to use it with or without water. It cleaned well, even removing my mascara.
