Today’s cradle to cradle products (green products) are Aveda’s Firming Face Cream, Aveda’s Men Pure-Formance Shampoo and the conditioner. I have three products to introduce to you today which are all from the same company called Aveda. The first product is called Aveda’s Green Science Firming Facial Cream. One of the key ingredients of this cream is organic argon oil which is a type of nut from Morocco. It sells for $55 for a 1.7 fluid oz jar. I checked that price on Amazon to compare it with other facial creams and I found some that were half that price and some that were double that price. The second and third products are Aveda’s Men Pure-Formance Shampoo and the Conditioner. They both sell for $18 each for a 300 ml bottle which is 10 fluid oz. You can buy these products on their website or you can check your local salon or spa. One thing I would like to mention is that all three of these products received the Cradle to Cradle gold certification. There are four different certifications; there’s basic, silver, gold and platinum. To clarify something, I mentioned in the introduction video that Cradle to Cradle products don’t have waste. That’s actually not correct. What I meant to say is that according to the Cradle to Cradle philosophy, these products should not have waste, but in reality, they’re not perfect.
