How to Start a Skin Care Business?

03 Jan

So I make homemade skin products (lotions, masks, scrubs), and my friends said I should open up a shop and sell them because they use them and they like it.

But I was wondering, how? What would I need to do to start selling my products? I know I would need them to be approved by the FDA (i think), but other than that, what else?

Start Using a Natural Face Cream Today!

12 Dec

ow many people are still not using a natural face cream? It is time to stop using synthetic products on your skin. A good anti-aging face cream will help keep your skin looking and feeling younger.

A natural face cream can help reduce the signs of aging such as lines, wrinkles, age spots, and dry skin. Many of the name brand skin care products contain harmful ingredients such as fragrances and preservatives known as parabens. These specific ingredients can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions.

In fact, recent studies indicate that parabens could cause cancer. Too many people are not aware of what they are putting on their skin and what it could do to your skin. People need to be more aware of the positive benefits of a natural face cream.

Besides fragrances and parabens, an anti aging face cream should not contain mineral oil either as it clogs the pores of your skin. It is used in skin care products because it is quite cheap.

Alcohols are frequently used in skin care products; however, they can dry the skin and cause irritation. These alcohols include ethyl, methanol, isopropyl, benzyl and ethanol. Avoid products that contain any of these alcohols. A natural face cream should not contain these ingredients.

Other ingredients are potentially cancer causing as well. These include polyethylene glycol and dioxane.

A good natural face cream should contain safe natural substances that will boost the production of natural proteins in the skin. I have covered many substances that you should avoid; now I will provide some natural ingredients you should look for in a good natural face cream.

Cynergy TK is a new natural substance that is being used in natural face creams developed in New Zealand. You will likely not find it used in many products in North America yet.

This natural substance helps to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in your skin. These proteins are vital to the health of your skin. As you age, your skin produces less and less of them. Thus, you need to apply an anti-aging face cream that will help boost the production of these proteins.

Another natural substance that is becoming a popular ingredient in natural face creams is phytessence wakame. It is derived from a type of Japanese sea kelp. It also works with the collagen and elastin in your skin to keep its texture and elasticity.
