i have really difficult sensitive skin. i started breaking out with reg plus cystic acnce since 3rd grade. everything either breaks me out or dries me out. i have been on meds, proactive, sonya dakar, clinique, bliss, murad, natural products & cannot find anything that works. i’m 32 &starting to see discoloration, fine lines eyes, smile marks around mouth, dull skin, but anything antiaging breaks me out. the best lotion i used was bliss the youth as we know it, but i started breaking out after a few weeks, but it made my skin lift a lot. proactive works for a while & then i start to have a reaction & it dries out my skin & i can’t use it for months or longer. i don’t have a ton to spend but need something that really works for sensitive skin that is aging, looking dull, large pores, but still breaking out! help! i’m currently using bliss sleeping peel cream cleanser, sleeping peel gel toner, an oz of prevention am & pm. still breaking out, lots of large pores & dull skin.
i don’t think the bliss products are really working for me, i was hoping more expensive would mean work better. i also use the mineral makeup, started that a few months ago with no negative reactions. i would just like to have makeup free skin. i also tried hope in a bottle by philosophy and that made me break out as well.
thanks!

What medication were you on? Doryx works excellent along with Differin and Duac gel for cystic acne.

try some bio oil for face, and just regular bio-oil for everywhere else, it’s really cheap at walgreens, give it a shot! =)

I was using Neutrogena’s anti-oxidant age reverse cleanser, day lotion with SPF of 20, eye cream, and night cream.
Somehow, I thought the more expensive the better so I bought another different line of skincare from Sephora called Shiseido. Dang….those products were so greasy I did not feel comfortable at all with it. I might return it.
However, I love Neutrogena’s anti-oxidant that I described above. It is not greasy and it did not make me break out at all. So, more expensive is not always better. I basically wasted $600.00 on crap.
So now, I am back to using Neutrogena and will probaby be sticking to this until something better comes along.
Hope this helps.

Try papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are
available online. These work wonders.
Maybe it will work on you too.
Try searching it through Google ‘shopaholic’s bargains’

It sounds like your skin is reacting to the chemicals in your skincare products. Even so called natural products usually contain harmful chemicals so try using a certified organic range like Miessence. Here is some useful information on natural and organic products.
